How to Register on Inua Jamii and Get Ksh 2K Monthly from the Government

Labor and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Florence Bore announced on Tuesday that eligible Kenyans could begin applying for Inua Jamii funds from May 21.

Successful applicants will receive Ksh 2,000 every month from the national government starting June 2024.

He Registration campaign aims to register 500,000 more households to the 207,000 current beneficiaries.

“The registration of households for Cash Transfers for Persons with Severe Disabilities (PWSD-CT) and Orphans and Vulnerable Children (CT-OVC) begins tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22,” the CS stated.

How to apply

If you are a person over 70 years of age or a PWSD, you can register by dialing *222#.

The USSD code will provide you with the social protection services offered by eCitizen, including; Kenya Government Flood Relief, Inua Jamii, Housing and Tax Payment.

After selecting Inua Jamii, you will be asked to select your preferred language between English and Kiswahili.

After choosing the language you know, you can you were asked to press 1 to enroll in the Inua Jamii program.

“Your name and ID will be compared to Kenyan Government records,” the service will say after you press one.

If you accept the above terms and conditions, you will be asked to confirm your mobile PIN.

“Please note that the Directorate of Social Welfare has full rights to approve or reject your access request,” Kenyans are advised to register.
