Todd Boehly sent a message to Jürgen Klopp from Chelsea fans following the departure of Mauricio Pochettino

Chelsea are once again looking for a new coach after the departure of Mauricio Pochettino. Fans of the Stamford Bridge club have no doubts about who they want, with fans calling for Jürgen Klopp to be given the job.

Chelsea announced the departure of Pochettino after just one year at the helm of the club, and the Argentine left by mutual agreement. He was under pressure for much of the season, although an improvement in the second half of the campaign saw the Blues qualify for Europe by finishing sixth in the Premier League.

However, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is now looking for another manager, having sacked Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter last season before turning to Frank Lampard on an interim basis.

“Thank you to Chelsea’s ownership group and sporting directors for the opportunity,” Pochettino said in a statement. “The club is now well positioned to continue making progress in the Premier League and Europe in the coming years.”

Now that Pochettino is gone, there is one man that Chelsea fans have identified as their next target. Many have already started urging Boehly to bring Klopp to Stamford Bridge following his departure from Liverpool.

However, it looks like Chelsea fans will be disappointed. Klopp has already outlined his plans after his departure from Liverpool and ruled out working for another Premier League club.

“If you ask me, ‘Will you ever work as a manager again?’ “Now I would say no,” Klopp explained on Liverpool’s official website when he announced his decision to leave Anfield.
