Edo LP suspends national president Abure for anti-party activities

National Chairman of the Labor PartyJulio Aburéhas been suspended from the party in Arue-Uromi Ward 3, Esan North East Local Government Area of ​​Edo State. for alleged arrogance and anti-party activities.

The suspension letter was signed by District President Thompson Ehiguese and District Secretary Stanley Usiomoh.

The letter ratifying his suspension was sent to the party’s State Executive Committee through the State Chairman by the party’s North East Esan Local Government Chairman, Patrick Onogbeni, and LG Secretary, Ehikioya Eromosele.

The ratification letter read: “Here is referred to you for your consideration the ratification of the suspension of Julius Abure as a member of Ward 3, Arue, Uromi, Ean North East LGA, Edo State.

“The LGA Executive met on 15 th of May2024, around noon, to consider the issues presented regarding the suspension and consequently considered them weighty and the suspension was ratified and confirmed.”

The Kelly Ogbaloi-led State Executive Committee endorsed the decisions of the party’s district and local government committee on Friday.
