Police have found a man in the mountains of Prince Alfred Hamlet in the Western Cape, eight days after he was reported missing.

The 61-year-old man was recovered after an exhaustive search that lasted just over a week, according to police spokesman Captain FC van Wyk.

Patrick Xhibu was reported missing by his wife at Prince Alfred Hamlet Police Station on Sunday, May 12.
