Police investigate Kitchener shooting, one at hospital

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate after an overnight shooting in Kitchener on Victoria Day.

The incident occurred on Monday around 11:30 pm in the area of ​​Fischer-Hallman Road and Queen’s Boulevard.

Police said a male victim was taken to a hospital outside the region with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no information on a possible suspect or suspects, although investigators believe the incident was intentional in nature and stemmed from a disturbance involving fireworks.
