The watchdog criticizes another profitable agricultural project: this one has perlemoen and crayfish

South Africa’s financial watchdog has warned the public not to do business with RNI Aquaculture, a company that promised investors big profits by buying a stake in a fish farming business.

In marketing materials, RNI said investors could “rent” or “adopt” perlemoen (abalone), fish and crayfish for export at one of its (unnamed) “aquaculture centers.”

He even claimed that building “large-scale aquatic breeding centres” would help the state solve South Africa’s crippling unemployment problems.
