Within the search for the next Chelsea coach, three names are identified to replace Mauricio Pochettino

Months of speculation finally ended on Tuesday night when Chelsea issued a statement to confirm the departure of Mauricio Pochettino as head coach of the club.

The decision, understood to be mutually agreed upon, comes after the Argentine led Chelsea to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League season in what was an eventful debut campaign at Stamford Bridge. The search for a new head coach will take place now, but Chelsea have already done some groundwork in that department. Among the candidates is Sebastian Hoeness, the 42-year-old German coach of VfB Stuttgart.
