News of Major Bronny James and Golden State Warriors Announced

NBA insider Shams Charania reported Tuesday during an episode of FanDuel’s Run it Back that NBA Draft prospect Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, has more than 10 invites to pre-draft workouts, but will only attend. a couple of them.

“Bronny James has over 10 training invitations during the pre-draft process, but I’m told he’ll only visit a couple of them, and that will include the Lakers and the Phoenix Suns,” Charania reported. “The Suns have the 22nd overall pick in the draft, he’s under consideration there, obviously among a lot of players… There will only be a couple of teams: two, three teams that Bronny James visits. The Lakers and the Suns, interestingly, are between the two teams.

This report received an update Tuesday afternoon, when KRON4 News’ Jason Dumas reported that the Golden State Warriors are not among the 10 teams that have extended a coaching invitation to Bronny James. The Warriors hold the 52nd overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, having lost their first-round pick to the Portland Trail Blazers as a result of the lottery result.

Golden State’s draft position could be the main reason they haven’t extended a coaching invitation to Bronny James, because while the former USC guard could certainly fall to the second round, he seems unlikely to fall until 52nd place.
