GIVES federal president Helen Zille has described former DA leader Mmusi Maimane’s new book as a work of fiction, saying Maimane seeks to present himself as a victim.

In an interview with City Press on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Zille said that former DA leader and current Build One SA (Bosa) leader, Mmusi MaimaneHe is acting like a victim.

This comes after Maimane published a book titled “Dare to Believe: Why I Couldn’t Stay at the DA.” Zille says people need to stop obsessing over the few blacks who have embraced critical race theory, which the DA completely rejects as a political philosophy, and look to the promising people who are committed to non-racialism within the game.
